Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus or any other writ, directing the Respondent to furnish the copy of application and other documents if any filed by Mr.A.Jayaraman S/o.Annamalai under section 5 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007 dated 20.9.2021 against the petitioner herein which is subject matter of letter issued by the respondent Na.Ka.2135/2021/A3 dated 21.9.2021 signed on 23.9.2021 to the petitioner herein with in an appropriate time as fixed by this Honourable Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to furnish the copy of application and other documents if any filed by Mr.A.Jayaraman S/o.Annamalai under section 5 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007 dated 20.9.2021 against the petitioner herein which is subject matter of letter issued by the respondent Na.Ka.2135/2021/A3 dated 21.9.2021 signed on 23.9.2021 to the petitioner herein with in an appropriate time as fixed by this Honourable Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner is his father Jayaraman, he made a complaint before the authority under the maintenance and welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007 and the petitioner has been called for enquiry. However, though the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner father made a complaint, the said documents and the order copy have not been furnished to the petitioner, in spite of the representation made by the petitioner. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's application under RTI Act and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. Mr. Vijay, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent submits that the copy of the complaint filed by the petitioner's father along with other documents will be furnished to the petitioner within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. In the light of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the case, issues a direction to authority to provide the documents within a period of two weeks and complete the entire proceedings within a period of 4 weeks. Thereafter, with the aforesaid direction this Writ Petition is disposed of . No costs.
