The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence publishable under Section 120(B), 364(A), 394, 397 of IPC in Crime No.156 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused waylaid the defacto complainant and threatened and snatched a sum of Rs.12,000/-. Hence, the complaint has been registered.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Non Bailable Warrant has been pending before the trial Court. Hence, sought for anticipatory bail.

4. when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that due to non appearance of the petitioner, the Sessions Court is issued Non Bailable Warrant and the same is pending.

Since already the trial Court has issued Non Bailable Warrant against the petitioner, it is appropriate for this Court to direct the petitioner to appear before the learned II Additional District Court, Tiruchengode, Namakkal District, for cancellation of Non Bailable Warrant and if any application filed by the petitioner, the trial Court is directed to consider the same on the same day in accordance with law.

6. With the above said observations, this Petition stands disposed of.
