O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the V Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai for early disposal of the petition for divorce filed by the petitioner/husband against the respondent in O.P.No.3407 of

2. Having regard to the limited prayer made in this revision this Court is inclined to dispose of the revision even without notice to the respondent.

3. The petitioner/husband filed a petition against the respondent/wife seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty. A perusal of the adjudication sheet filed in the typed set of papers would suggest that the pleadings in the main Original Petition was completed and the matter has been posted for enquiry. It is seen the main Original Petition has been adjourned from time to time from 16.08.2021 onwards for enquiry without any substantial progress. In these circumstances, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the Court below to dispose of the Original Petition No.3407 of 2019 within a period of nine (9) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
