PRAYER: Habeas Corpus petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to direct the first respondent to produce Petitioner's wife namely Kavitha W/o Manivasagam, aged about 28 years, from the illegal custody of 2nd respondent before this Court and set her at liberty.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was delivered by N.KIRUBAKARAN, J) The petitioner who is the husband of one Mrs.Kavitha has approached this Court seeking a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the first respondent to secure the detenue viz., Mrs.Kavitha from the illegal custody of the 2nd respondent. 2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the first respondent. 3.When the matter is called today, the detenue viz., Mrs.Kavitha is present before this Court and the petitioner is also present. It is evident from the interaction between them that they have got two children viz., one male child aged about seven years and one girl child aged about three years. The detenue expressed her willingness to return to the petitioner and the petitioner has also consented for the same. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.It is also reported by the petitioner that the second respondent is blackmailing the detenue by sending obscene photographs taken along with her. Therefore, the first respondent/police is directed to take appropriate action in this regard.

5.In view of the categorical statements made by both the petitioner as well as the detenue, this Habeas Corpus petition is closed. No costs.
