(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner, an advocate, seeks to raise the issue about the medical admission in general terms without any particulars. He has no expertise either in the field of medical education or an affected party. We have also perused the representation dated 07.09.2016 sent to the State of Tamil Nadu, a nodal agency, which does not contain any worthwhile facts. Mere surmises and conjectures of the petitioner cannot form the basis of public interest litigation and thus, it clearly falls in the category of publicity interest litigation.
2. The writ petition is dismissed.
No costs.
