O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue Experience Certificate in the prescribed format to the petitioner in order to enable the petitioner to submit the same to the concerned authority to whom the petitioner has applied for 'C' License. 2.Heard Mr.M.R.Jothimanian, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.S.Manikandan, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Artisan (Electrician) on 02.12.2019 in the respondent University on contractual basis. The petitioner work for more than four years. Due to family circumstances, he was not able to 2/6

continue his service in the respondent University. Hence, the petitioner was relieved from service on 31.01.2024.

4.The petitioner applied for 'C' License in the Tamil Nadu Electrical Licensing Board on 09.02.2024. The same was not considered, since the petitioner did not produce the Experience Certificate. In view of the same, the petitioner made an application to the 2nd respondent for Experience Certificate for the period from 01.10.2021 to 30.01.2024. The grievance of the petitioner is that the representation/application was not considered and as a result, the petitioner is not able to resubmit his application for 'C' License before the concerned authority. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court.

5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance expressed by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to deal with the application/representation submitted by the petitioner on 27.02.2024 and issue the Experience Certificate to the petitioner for the period during which the petitioner was working on contractual basis. This process shall be completed by the 2nd and 3rd respondents, within a period of four weeks from the 3/6

date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 2nd and 3rd respondents along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order. 7.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
