ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Section 406, 420 of IPC r/w Section 120(B) of IPC and Section 76 of Chit Fund Act, 1982 in Cr.No.29 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant namely Mrs.Revathy have lodged the complaint alleging that the petitioners have received money for conducting chit and subsequently the said amount was not repaid to the defacto complainant and others. Despite of repeated request of the defacto complainant, the petitioners have not paid the money and abused the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioners ran a fake chit fund company and cheated an amount of Rs.1,50,00,000/-. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and that huge amount was cheated by the petitioners and still receiving complaints over them and further this case requires detailed investigation, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
