ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.RAJA, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take all such necessary steps to prevent Dengue and other vector borne diseases and also the accumulation of water for mosquitoes to breed as directed by this Court in its order dated 02.08.2021 made in W.P.No.28665/2019.

2. This Public Interest Litigation Writ Petition was listed today under the caption, 'for admission'.

3. Heard the petitioner/party-in-person.

4. On the face of the records, it is not known how this Writ Petition is maintainable as a public interest litigation. As a matter of fact, if the petitioner is really interested to prosecute the petition for common cause, he should have given a detailed representation to the respondents herein bringing to the notice of the appropriate authority that this is a state of affairs prevailing in a particular area or locality, thereby enabling the respondent authorities to take further effective and useful measures to eradicate Dengu or other vector borne diseases. But the representation of the petitioner dated 20.11.2021 does not specify the place where the Dengue disease is originating or emanating and when these unhygienic places were identified.

More over, he has not even mentioned on what date, he noticed the stagnation of the water which is the prime cause for the spreading of the Dengu disease. This writ petition has been filed with vague allegations, therefore, finding no justification whatsoever in the writ petition and also in the representation of the petitioner dated 20.11.2021, we are unable to entertain the same.

5. In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed as not maintainable. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
