ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 to 5 to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the correct extent of the land in respect of the property morefully described in the prayer to the Writ Petition.

2. The petitioner relies upon the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 26.12.2024 and would submit that, as per the said proceedings, the 3rd respondent has recommended issuance of patta for the correct extent of the land in favour of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner submits that he is entitled to be issued with a patta, for the correct extent of the land, as prayed for in this Writ Petition.

3. Till date, no counter has been filed by the respondents. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the 4th respondent to consider the request of the petitioner for issuance of patta for the correct extent of the land, as prayed for in this Writ Petition, in the light of the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 26.12.2024 relied upon by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's request for issuance of patta for the correct extent of the land.

4. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 4th respondent to pass orders on the application seeking for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner for the correct extent of the land, as prayed for in this Writ Petition after giving due consideration to the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 26.12.2024 relied upon by the petitioner, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
