When the matter is taken up today, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the second respondent is present.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that charge sheet has been filed by the respondent/Police before the Additional Mahila Court, Salem, on 20.11.2020 and therefore, seeks appropriate direction of this Court.
3. Since the respondent/Police has filed the charge sheet, the learned Additional Judge, Mahila Court, Salem, is directed to take cognizance of the charge sheet and proceed with the case as per law.
4. In view of the above fact, this Court is of the considered view that no orders are necessary in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners to challenge the chargesheet, if they are so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
