This Criminal Original petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to direct the respondent police to register the case against the petitioner's brother namely Dass and provide police protection to the petitioner and her husband based on the complaint dated 29.04.2017 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. On hearing, it has been submitted that the complaint made by the petitioner against her brother is closed before the Inspector of Police, G-7, Chetpet Police Station.

3. In view of the above, there is nothing survive in the present petition for adjudication. Hence, this petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed if any.
