O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that four cases have been registered as against the petitioner and the same are pending on the file of the respondent police.

4. It is seen that four FIRs have been registered as against the petitioner in Crime Nos.429 of 2017, 792 of 2012, 86 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of 2013 and 248 of 2013 for the offences under sections 4(1) (aaa) 4(1-A) TN Prohibition Act, Section 3 TN Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992 and 147, 148, 341, 188, 353, 332 IPC and the same are pending with the respondent police. Thereafter, the respondent have issued summon to the petitioner. The petitioner is an accused in all the cases and once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
