ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondent Police to provide Police Protection to the petitioner.

2. The petitioner seeks Police protection against the second to fourth respondent who are threatening the petitioner not to support the prosecution case in Crime No. 39 of 2011. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

3. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
