ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register an FIR on the petitioner's complaint dated 29.10.2021.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had given a complaint on 29.10.2021 on the allegation that one Shankar had fabricated the documents pertaining to the petitioners' property and forged the sale deed in favour of some third parties.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the complaint has been lodged before one year, no action has been taken by the 2nd respondent police.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, current paper enquiry has been initiated in

C.No.2461 of 2021 and the Government Advocate is yet to receive the present status of the same.

6. Considering the fact that C.No.2461 of 2021 has been assigned on the complaint given by the petitioner and the enquiry is being conducted, I feel it is appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent police, if the enquiry C.No.2461 of 2021 is still pending to complete the enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, In case, the enquiry has been conducted and the closure report has been filed, the copy of the same shall be furnished to the petitioner. On receipt of the same, the petitioner is at liberty to accept the same or to file a protest petition in accordance with law.

7. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
