O R D E R

The petition is filed for change of Investigating Agency to investigate the case in Crime No.713 of 2023 registered for theft of 15 sovereigns of gold jewels and one lakh rupees cash from the house of the Defacto Complainant.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that I.O. in this case has taken all efforts to trace the offender, but till date no clue could be collected since the theft was committed when the owner of the house had left to Tirupati. The house was broke open and jewels and money alleged to have been kept in almirah were stolen. So far statements of the eight witnesses recorded, CCTV Footage nearby places were collected and also finger print were lifted, but no match of the finger print could be ascertained from the Crime Records Bureau. 2/5

Special Team have been formed based on the Dump CDR details and efforts are taken to secure the accused.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the report filed by the Inspector of Police, AWPS Thiruttani I/c R.K.Pet Police, Thiruvallur, is totally false.

4. Considering the investigation so far conducted, this Court is of the view that there is no necessity to change the investigation at this stage, however, this Court satisfied with the report and close the Criminal Original Petition with a direction to the respondent that the Special Team constituted shall intensify search of the accused persons and file a final report.
