..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2024 sent for cancelling the patta issued in the name of their father late Ramasamy and to issue the patta in the names of the petitioners in respect of 9 cents of lands in R.S.No.152/2 and 4, situate at Periaagraharam village, Erode taluk and district. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents to consider his representation dated 15.07.2024 seeking transfer of patta in respect of the property situated in R.S.No.152/2 and 152/4 with an extent of 9 cents at Peria Agraharam village, Erode Taluk and district within a time fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, the patta for the above mentioned property stands in the name of his father Ramasamy Gounder. After his death, the petitioners have been in possession and enjoyment of the same. They submitted a representation on 15.07.2024 seeking transfer of patta and the same has not been considered. Hence, they are before this Court. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the representation of the petitioners will be considered on its' own merits within a time fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 15.07.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
