PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the learned Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Gummidipoondi to take up the FR No.338/2019 in Crime No.326 of 2019 which was filed by the first respondent on 28.10.2019 and number the Preliminary Registered Case within the stipulated time. ORDER

The petition is filed seeking direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate to take up the F.R. No.338 fo 2019 in Crime No. 326 of 2019 filed by the first respondent Police on 28.10.2019 and number the Preliminary Registered Case within the stipulated time.

2. The learned Government Advocate submits that the learned Judicial Magistrate has taken up the final report on file on 26.10.2023, and assigned PRC. No.8 of 2023.

3. In view of the above fact, this petition is disposed of with the direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Gummidipoondi to serve a copy to the accused persons as per Section 207 Cr.P.C and commit the matter to Court of Sessions for further proceedings preferably not later than 30 days from today.
