PRAYER: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2023 and consequently direct the respondents 5 and 6 not to conduct Brickin Unit in Punja Survey No.46/1A an extent measuring 0.24.50 Ares and in Nanja Survey No.45/1A an extent measuring 0.06.0 Ares at Vasudevampattu Village & Post, Chengam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner herein complaints that respondents 5 and 4 run a Bricklin Unit, without license and causing environmental hazard. 3.Mr.S.J.Mohamed Sathik, the learned Government Advocate takes notice for respondents 1 to 4.

4.The learned Government Advocate, on instruction, submitted that as per the report of the Tahsildar, respondents 5 and 6 have not obtained any license or permission for running their business.

5.The second respondent is now required to hold an enquiry, after giving an opportunity to respondents 5 and 6, who are likely to be affected by his decision and dispose of the petitioner's representation / complaint dated 20.06.2023 within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of an online copy or the date on which the order is hosted in the official website, whichever is earlier.
