JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) The present writ appeal has been instituted to set aside the order made in WP.No.16108 of 2021, dated 03.08.2021.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that the tenure of the members of the Market Committee is for a period of one year from the date of issue of the order dated 23.07.2021, issued by the 1st respondent in G.O.(Ms).No.105, Agriculture (AM2) Department, dated 23.07.2021. The period expired in the year 2022 itself.
3. However, the learned counsel for the appellant would submit that they have to constitute a new Market Committee.
4. The issue is unconnected with the present writ appeal. That apart, the learned Government Pleader would submit that a special officer has now been appointed.
5. For all these reasons, the issue raised in the present writ appeal lost its relevance on account of efflux of time. Thus, the writ appeal stands closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, are closed. No costs.
