ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue a direction to the 2nd respondent to provide healthy food to the petitioner A.Boopathi who is detained at Central Prison, Salem.

2. The Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner / detenue has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

already been released from the jail on 06.10.2018. Hence the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. The Learned Government Advocate has also filed a letter dated 05.07.2021 sent by the Superintendent of Central Prison, Salem, wherein, it is stated that as per G.O.Ms.No.1766 / Home (Prison IV) Department, dated 03.10.2018, the petitioner A.Boopathi was released from the jail on 06.10.2018.

4. In view of the submission made and the letter filed by the Learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
