The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue online patta in his name in respect of his property with an extent of 2485 sq.fts situated in New S.No.14/10 Old S.Nos.1403/2 and 1403/2B1A3, Plot No.13, Mahaveer Nagar Layout, Pooniammamedu at Kolathur Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Chennai, by considering his representation dated 24.06.2024.
2. According to the petitioner, he purchased the above mentioned property vide registered sale deed dated 04.05.2006 and he has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. He submitted a representation seeking issue of online patta in his name on 24.06.2024 and the same has not been considered till date. The main grievance of the petitioner is mutation of his name in revenue records pertains to S.No.14/10 had not taken place till date. 2/5
Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that if the petitioner submits an online application, the same will be considered, on its own merits, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, he is directed to submit online application seeking issue of patta within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner shall also pay the necessary charges for issuance of online patta within the said time frame. The third respondent to consider online application of the petitioner on its own merits and pass final orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of application.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
