This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to provide a police protection to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.11.2021.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner was earlier married to one Shanthi in the year 2017 and having one male child. Thereafter his wife had left him due to some misunderstanding. The petitioner is employed in a mobile shop in Perambur, at that time he had become friendly with one Sangeetha and insisted the petitioner to marry her, wherein the petitioner was informed to her about his previous marriage life. She had a blind love on the petitioner and she had forced him https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to marry her. But the petitioner refused the same. The family members of the said Sangeetha came to the mobile shop and enquired about the petitioner personally. During enquiry it is revealed that the petitioner belongs to Scheduled Caste Community, which was objected by the family members of the said Sangettha, since the said Sangeetha belongs to Telugu Nadar Community and people hailing from the community are giving life threaten to the petitioner. Hence he seeks security for his life.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner had sent a complaint dated 24.11.2021, through registered post. Further he requested this Court to issue a direction to the petitioner to appear before the second respondent police in person along with the copy of the complaint dated 24.11.2021, so that the veracity of the complaint can be verified and thereafter appropriate action can be taken. 4.In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent police along with the copy of the complaint dated 24.11.2021. Thereafter, the respondent police are directed to take appropriate action in the manner known to law.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
