Application No.6405 of 2019 in O.P.No.58 of 2017 PUSHPA SATHYANARAYANA, J.

This application is filed by the applicant seeking to extend the time for passing the award in the Arbitration Proceedings initiated, pursuant to the orders of this Court in O.P.No.58 of 2017.

2. It is stated that the matter is in stage of hearing the arguments of the petitioner and the respondent. Since one of the counsels had underwent a surgery, arbitration proceedings could not be completed within time. Hence, the learned counsel for the applicant seeks three months extension of time from 12.09.2019, on which date, the earlier extended time expires. It is also stated that Mr.M.Balaji, learned counsel for the respondents on record does not have any objection for extension of time.

3. With the consent of both learned counsel, time is extended by three months from 12.09.2019 for completion of the arbitral proceedings. The parties are directed to co-operate with the learned Arbitrator for passing of the order as expeditiously as possible.
