..Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate and necessary action for survey measuring and fixing of boundaries of petitioner's land in Survey No.263/2D1 in Senur Village Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District based on petitioner's application dated 17.03.2021 and based on petitioner's representations dated 14.12.2021 and 08.03.2022 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court and pass orders.

By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the time of admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first Respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2021.

3. The case of the petitioner is the petitioner is owner of the subject property and he is in possession and enjoyment of the same. The petitioner made a representation to the first Respondent to survey his land on 17.03.2021. However, the same was not considered. Without having no other option, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a suitable direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2021. and pass appropriate orders within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the official respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2021. will be considered and suitable orders will be passed on

merits within the stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, direct the first Respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2021 and take necessary steps to survey the land, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
