For Petitioners : Mr.N.F.J.Ponnudurai For R1 : Mr.C.Iyyappa Raj Additional Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to direct the first respondent to lay final report in the inordinately delayed F.1/F.I.R Crime Nos.120 & 98 of 2016 and 1583 & 299 of 2015.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent submitted the following submissions:- (i) In respect of Crime No.120 of 2016, the 1st respondent Police on completion of investigation, filed charge sheet before the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore and the same is not taken on file.
(ii) In respect of Crime No.98 of 2016, the 1st respondent Police, on completion of investigation, filed charge sheet before the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai and the same is not taken on file.
(iii) In respect of Crime No.1583 of 2015, the 1st respondent Police, on completion of investigation, filed charge sheet before the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.4052 of 2017. After ful-fledged trial, the case in C.C.No.4052 of 2017 ended in acquittal.
(iv) In respect of Crime No.299 of 2015, the 1st respondent Police on completion of investigation, filed charge sheet before the learned III Additional Sessions Court, Chennai and the same was taken on file as S.C.No.186 of 2019.
3.In view of the above, nothing survives in theses petitions and the same are, accordingly, dismissed.
