ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking a direction to the respondents to provide police protection to her and to her husband.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and her husband got married inter caste and the marriage was registered on 11.07.2014, which was accepted only by the parents of the husband of the petitioner and since there is a life threat from the family members of the petitioner, the petitioner has given a representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 04.02.2016 to the first respondent seeking police protection and since the same has not been considered so far, she has come up with the present petition for the relief stated supra.

4. At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that no such complaint has been received by the first respondent police and there is no acknowledgement card.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to send a copy of the representation dated 04.02.2016 to the first respondent forthwith and on receipt of such representation, the first respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
