ORDER

(1)Mr.V.Manoharan, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.B.Tamilnidhi, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the 4 th respondent. With the consent of

both the learned counsels, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

(2)The writ petition is filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to remove Seemakaruvela trees in South Mariyamman Kovil Street, T.Palur [Village and Post], Udaiyarpalayam Taluk, Ariyalur District, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

(3)The petitioner had submitted a representation on 23.06.2025, to the official respondents, inter alia, complaining that Seemakaruvela trees were being grown by the private respondents 5 and 6, in their private property, which is situate adjacent to the petitioner's land. According to the petitioner, the Seemakaruvela trees are very old and have turned into a breeding ground for reptiles and poisonous insects, thereby posing serious threat to the safety and well-being of the petitioner and others in the vicinity. The petitioner therefore, represented the officials respondents to direct the respondents 5 and 6 to remove the said trees. However, as no action was taken on the petitioner's representation, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

(4)The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if a direction is issed to the 2 nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation within a stipulated time.

(5)Heard both the learned counsels and also perused the materials placed on record.

(6)In view of the above facts and circumstances, and considering the limited prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner a direction is issued to the 2 nd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2025, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner.
