COMMON ORDER These writ petitions are filed for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the representation of the respective petitioners dated 22.08.2016 and for consequential relief directing the respondents to stop construction of building at Plot No.9, Ambal Nagar, 1485 sq.ft of land and at Plot No.10, Ambal Nagar, 965 sq.ft of land respectively comprised in S.No. 207 part of Ramapuram Village, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvellore District.

When the writ petitions are taken up, it is represented by the learned Additional Advocate General that the 2nd respondent has dropped the idea of constructing the canteen in the subject properties, which are in the possession of the petitioners herein and that an alternative site has been selected.
In view of the above representation made on behalf of the respondents, the respondents are directed not to encroach upon the respective petitioners' properties at Plot No.9, Ambal Nagar, 1485 sq.ft of land and at Plot No.10, Ambal Nagar, 965 sq.ft of land comprised in S.No. 207 part of Ramapuram Village, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvellore District and put up any other construction.
