ORDER

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though the FIR was registered in the year of 2012, till date there is no progress. Hence, this petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.731 of 2012, on the file of 3rd respondent police to CBCID, Tiruppur.

2. Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Though the complaint has been lodged on 31.03.2012 by the petitioner and a case has been registered in Crime No.731 of 2012, due to non progress in the investigation, this petition has been filed to transfer the investigation to the CBCID.

4. When this Court raised a question on the Additional Public Prosecutor about the investigation, he stated that investigation is still pending in the FIR stage.

In such facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to issue suitable direction to the third respondent/Inspector of Police, P3-Thiruppur North Police Station, Tiruppur District, to expedite the investigation and the first respondent is hereby directed to monitor the investigation to be carried out by the third respondent. Further, the third respondent is hereby directed to complete the investigation expeditiously within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file a final report before the court concerned.

Post the matter on 05.10.2017 "for reporting compliance".
