This Court, while disposing of the above revision, by order dated 30.09.2022, directed the Superintendent of Police, Madhavaram Circle, Chennai, to take action against the erred officer and file a report before this Court.

Today, when the matter is posted under the caption "for reporting compliance", the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Redhills District, Avadi Police Commissionarate, has filed action taken report, in which it is stated that show cause notice has been issued on the erred officer.

The said report is recorded. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Redhills District, is directed to complete the disciplinary proceedings and file outcome of the proceedings before this Court within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
