Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider petitioner's representation letter dated 17.06.2022 and consequently provide copy of the award and the compensation awarded to the petitioner along with the compensation amount to be paid in the favour of the petitioner along with interest pertaining to the property situated at Survey No.438/3, situated at Plan No.178, Plot No.526, Vallam, Group, Vmunapet Village, Sriperumbadur Taluk, Chengalpet District within a time frame and pass orders.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider petitioner's representation letter dated 17.06.2022 and consequently provide copy of the award and the compensation awarded to the petitioner along with the compensation amount to be paid in the favour of the petitioner along with interest pertaining to the property situated at Survey No.438/3, situated at Plan No.178, Plot No.526, Vallam, Group, vmuapet Village, Sriperumbadur Taluk, Chengalpet District .
2. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are the absolute owners of the subject land and on enquiry in the said area the petitioners came to know that the subject lands was acquired by the SIPCOT. However the respondent does not provide a certificate copy of the award and compensation was also not paid to the petitioner. Hence the petitioner need a 2/5
certified copy of the award for which the petitioner had made a representation to the respondents on 17.06.2022 but till not he has not yet received the award copy, hence the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the relief sought for by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent to issue him an award copy for enabling him to work out the remedy in the manner known to law, this Court directs the respondents to furnish the award copy to the petitioners within the period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above terms, this present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
