ORDER
The petitioners have filed this Criminal Original Petition to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.73 of 2013 pending on the file of the second respondent and quash the same.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Crime No.73 of 2013, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Pollachi and the same was taken on file as STC No.142 of 2016. Subsequently, after trial, the petitioners were also acquitted under Section 248(1) Cr.P.C by order dated 09.11.2016.
3. Since the charge sheet has already been filed in Crime No.73 of 2013 and the case ended in acquittal, nothing survives https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
