Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition No.29831/2012 is filed to direct the 1st respondent to hear and dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 13.2.2012 filed by the petitioner challenging the order of the Tahsildar of Palacode deleting the petitioner's name from Patta No.739, comprising of S.F.No.5/5 Dry Hectares 2.45.00 Assessment 6.78 in Marandahalli village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District. Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned.

At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if this Court passes an order directing the 1st respondent to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner, dated 13.2.2012, within a time frame.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned, the 1st respondent is directed to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner, dated 13.2.2012, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as respondents 2 to 9, and the other persons concerned, if any. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated 13.2.2012, to the 1st respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
