This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.39 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent police, for offences under Section498(A), 4 of TNPWH Act and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act as against the petitioner.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that FIR in Crime No.39 of 2018, on the file of the first respondent police has been enquired and the same was closed as 'Further Action Dropped' on 10.04.2017 and the closure report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram.

3.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.
