Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 BNSS to direct the respondent police to file final report under Section 193(1)(2) of BNSS Act, 2023, within a time frame in Crime No.04/2024 on the file of the respondent police.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent police to file final report in Cr.No.04 of 2024.

When the matter is called for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent police would submit that in this case investigation completed and charge sheet also filed through e-filing before the Special Court, Ranipet.

The Special Court for Trial of Cases under the POCSO Act, Ranipet, is directed to take the Final Report filed by the respondent police, on file, if it is otherwise in order, within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and also dispose of the same under Section 35(ii) of POCSO Act.

With the above directions, the criminal original petition stands disposed of.
