This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in so far as the petitioner is concerned FIR in Crime No.164/2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Mecheri Police Station, Salem District.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that after completion of investigation, the case was referred as mistake of fact and RCS notice served.
