This petition is filed to condone the delay of 254 days in filing the appeal.

Heard Mr.P.Mani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Michael Visuvasam, learned counsel for the second respondent. Despite notice having been served upon the first respondent, none appears before this Court.

Having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and since there are no serious objections, the delay of 254 days in filing the appeal is condoned.

Accordingly, the petition stands ordered.

However, the appellant/petitioner shall not claim any interest during the delay period.
