This matter came up for hearing today under the caption 'For Being Mentioned' at the instance of the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners.
2. This petition has been filed seeking to amend the offence under Section 296(b), 115(2), 118(1), 324(4), 351(3) of BNS r/w 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 instead of 296(b), 11(2), 118(1), 224(4), 251(3) of BNS r/w 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, in Crl.O.P.No.17402 of 2025, dated 26.06.2025.
3. In view of the averments adduced in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this petition is ordered as prayed for. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in order dated 26.06.2025 passed in Crl.O.P.No.17402 of 2025 and issue fresh order copy. Further time is extended for a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to comply with the condition imposed by this Court.
