This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No. 529 of 2016 against the petitioner for the alleged offences under Section 4 of the Women Harassment Act and 506(i) IPC, pending on the file of The Inspector of Police, J-3, Guindy Police Station, Guindy, Chennai.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that investigation has been completed, charge sheet has also been filed in C.C.No.5085 of 2017 before the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai-600 015.

Therefore, the relief sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Govt. Counsel, nothing survives for further consideration in this matter and hence, the Criminal Original Petition is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dismissed as having become infructuous.
