Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent to complete investigation in Crime No.258 of 2014 pending on the file of Avelur Police Station and file a final report in a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete investigation in Crime No.258 of 2014 pending on the file of Avelur Police Station and file an final report.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that FIR in Crime No.258 of 2014 pending on the file of the respondent police has been enquired and the same was closed as 'Mistake of Fact' on 15.04.2017 and the Referred Charged Sheet RCS.No.1 of 2017 has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate-III, Gingee.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
