This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 21.07.2014 to re-survey the land and pass appropriate orders within a stipulated time period. 2.

There is no representation for the petitioner. Heard Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner submitted a representation, dated 21.07.2014 to survey the land comprised in Survey No.97/5, adhttps://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

measuring 41 1⁄2 cents, situated at Krishnankuppam Village, Cuddalore District and also sought for rectifying the extent of the property as 41 1⁄2 cents.

On written instructions submitted by the first respondent and Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate submitted that on verification of the "A" Register, in respect of the property comprised in Survey No. 97/5 and as per the Revenue Records, the extent of the said property is only 37.5 cents and as such the request made by the petitioner to resurvey the subject land and rectification of the extent of the subject land cannot be considered.
