ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction forbearing the respondents 1 to 3 from intimidating the petitioner and family members in respect of house bearing Door No.197, Reddiar Street, Thookanambakkam, Cuddalore Taluk, Cuddalore District, which is a subject matter of suit in O.S.No.235/2020 and O.S.No.69/2024, pending on the file of the Additional District Court, Cuddalore.

2.Mr.R.Ganesh Kumar, learned counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and fourth respondent, who are brothers. That apart, there is a criminal case pending as against the petitioner in Crime No.65 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police registered for the offences under Sections 332 C and 305 of BNS and the investigation is pending. He would further submit that the respondents 1 to 3 have no role to play in respect of the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the fourth respondent herein.

3.In view of the above, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed not to interfere with the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the fourth respondent herein. However, the third respondent is at liberty to proceed with the investigation in Crime No.65 of 2025 for the offences alleged to be committed by the petitioner, in accordance with law.

4.The Writ Petition (Criminal) is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 10-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order TSG To
