ORDER

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to direct the respondents to absorb and to regularize the service of the petitioner as per B.P.(FB).No.44, Administrative Branch, dated 06.09.2007 in the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, now known as TANGEDCO.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was working continuously as Contract Labourer for the past 14 years under the respondent Board on various divisions in Perambalur District and Ariyalur District. Now, he is working as Helper and Wireman under the Assistant Engineer (O & M Rural), Ariyalur. It is the further case of the petitioner that similarly placed persons like the petitioner have been absorbed into the service of the respondent/Board, but the same has not been done to the petitioner till date.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice to issue directions to the respondents to dispose of the representation in accordance with law. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 03.12.2018, if not disposed already within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
