O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the CBI (or) some other independent agency to investigate the suspect death of the petitioner's husband Jothilingam in Crime No.243 of 2016 on the file of 1st respondent police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner died in this case, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has now become infructuous.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition, hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
