ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for quashing the FIR in Crime No.229 of 2014 on the file of the 1st respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 420, r/w 34 IPC @ 341, 419, 420 and 379 IPC r/w 34 IPC, 419, 420, 414 IPC and 379, r/w 34 IPC.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Public Prosecutor, Puducherry, appearing for the first respondent submitted that investigation has been completed, charge sheet has also been filed and trial has also been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

commenced in C.C.No.68 of 2017 before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Puducherry. Therefore, the relief sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition, hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
