O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the salary for the period from 01.06.2024 to 24.06.2024 and also the subsistence allowance for the subsequent period by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 29.06.2024. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing on 13.09.2024, this Court directed the learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of respondent university to take instructions. Accordingly, the matter was listed today. Mr.Gautam S Raman, learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of respondent submitted that already steps have been taken to pay the sanctioned subsistence allowance to the petitioner and that such payment will be made within a period of one week.

Recording the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent university to make the payment that is due and payable to the petitioner within a period of ten days from today. 2/4
