ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the FIR based on the complaint, dated 14.09.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that earlier the petitioner had made a complaint against her relatives due to some family dispute. Again on 07.09.2022, while the petitioner was going to local area function, the said relatives abused the petitioner in filthy language and attacked her brutally and that she had taken treatment in the Govt. Stanley Hospital, Chennai. Hence, she lodged a complaint before the 2nd respondent Police along with relevant medical reports and based on which, a case has been taken on file in CSR No.947 of 2022. However, there is no investigation or action taken till date. Hence, the petitioner has preferred the present Criminal Original Petition.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the

respondents would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner , the preliminary enquiry is being conducted in C.S.R.No.947 of 2022.

5. Since the complaint has been given as early as in the month of September 2022, the 2nd respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.947 of 2022 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
