The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 02.04.2025 in connection with Crime No.136 of 2025 for the offence under Sections 103(1) of BNS Act on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/4

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner/A2 along with A1 due to political rivalry brutally murdered the deceased, locked the door and left the house and thereafter, foul smell emanated and the neighbours lodged a complaint. Hence, the case.

3. The primary contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is the paternal uncle of A1 and except for the relationship he has nothing to do with A1 or the other two accused who are advocate.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that though there are four accused in this case, only two accused A1 and A2 were arrested in this case and others were absconding. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner and still some of the accused are absconding, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
