PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying to direct the respondent police to provide security to the petitioner and their family members from being attacked by Kurshid Begum and Ajitha Banu and also with further direction that both Kurshid Begum and Ajitha Banu either be treated for their mental illness or to keep them locked inside the house without threatening the life or causing bodily harm to the petitioner and her family members including the other neighbours.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

2. The petition was filed in the year 2017. By efflux of time, the cause of action that has been projected to seek for the relief of police protection, may not survive at this length of time and this Court is not inclined to grant any police protection.
