The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking to call for the records relating to the proceedings in C.C.No.971 of 2015 on the file of the VIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai and quash the same.

2. Today petitioner and the second respondent is present before this Court. Even though a case has been registered in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Crime No.1553/2014 for the offences punishable under Section 294 (b), 341, 324 and 506(ii) IPC and chargesheet has also been levied in C.C.No.971 of 2015 on the file of the VIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai, now both the parties had reportedly entered into a compromise on the intervention of the elders.

3. On enquiry, the second respondent who is present before this Court would submit that he has no objection to quash the proceedings and he has also filed an affidavit to that effect.

4. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
